The professional and modern base with DECT multi-cell technology. The Snom M900 is basically the right base for almost any size of installation due to its enormous scalability. No matter if small office with only one base or hospital with several thousand handsets and hundreds of bases. Thanks to the DECT manager function integrated in every Snom M900 and the latest multi-cell technology, individual installations can include up to 1,000 bases and up to 4,000 handsets. The handy, white base offers not only a completely new design, but also a wide range of functions. The Snom M900 offers an integrated DECT manager as well as DECT and LAN synchronization. The integrated DECT manager manages all bases in an installation and ensures constant availability as well as the so-called "Seamless Handover" i.e. that calls are seamlessly transferred between the individual bases - even across floors or buildings. With its integrated TLS encryption, the base sets standards in terms of encryption, because security is naturally a top priority, especially in day-to-day business communications. Device maintenance can also be easily performed via the Snom M900's Web UI. Each base can wirelessly send software updates (OTA) but also other configuration information, to the connected handsets and thus massively ease the effort for the IT department. Professional live location, asset tracking and alarm solutions. With the Snom Beacon solution, Snom offers a cost-effective and timely solution to integrate professional location and asset tracking and alarm systems** into any existing Snom DECT multi-cell system*. The Snom M9B Beacon Gateway operates as a Bluetooth satellite that connects to a Snom M900 base via a DECT data connection. The beacon gateway itself can either transmit Bluetooth signals continuously (TX) to scan registered devices in its vicinity or respond in receive mode (RX) to signals from approaching beacons. Thanks to beamforming in the near-field range of 1-15 meters, the 4 antennas integrated in the M9B enable precise live location of a registered device and report this information in real time to the nearest Snom M900 base. At the same time, the M9B is compatible with many Bluetooth beacons from well-known manufacturers such as iBeacon, AltBeacon or Eddystome. The Snom M9B beacon gateway can be operated by battery as well as by USB power adapter and is therefore flexible and can be retrofitted at almost any location. This allows a wide range of scenarios to be mapped, from indoor navigation, theft protection, inventory management, tracking solutions and much more. On the one hand, the beacons are inexpensive to purchase, can be installed with minimal effort, and consume hardly any power thanks to the BLE standard (Bluetooth Low Energy). In addition, beacons do not normally affect existing infrastructures such as WLAN, DECT or mobile communications.
