The ALLNET ALL-SG8005PD Gigabit PoE+ Extender/Switch is a compact, high-performance device harnessing the latest network standards to extend your Ethernet signal up to 100 meters per device. With the capability to reach a total range of up to 500 meters, this extender offers flexibility and versatility.

Operating via Power over Ethernet (PoE), this amplifier eliminates the need for a separate power supply. This feature allows its deployment in locations without existing power cables or outlets, expanding range or connectivity effortlessly. The 4 PoE ports provide a maximum budget of 85W PoE power. Port 2 delivers up to 60W, while ports 3-5 can supply a maximum of 30W per port. Furthermore, ports 2-5 support both PoE and non-PoE compatible devices, ensuring flexible utilization.

This solution is ideal for ensuring a reliable network connection in cabinets or electrical enclosures. The additional ports can accommodate IoT devices or other smart home endpoints, further enhancing the versatility and applications of this extender.

The switch offers the option to toggle between two operating modes via a switch: OFF-Normal mode or ON-VLAN & 250M PoE. In VLAN & 250m PoE mode, devices cannot communicate with each other, also known as Port Isolation. Moreover, the network range for 100Mbps devices extends to a maximum of 250m, while Gigabit devices maintain a range of 100m."
