For example, WLAN access points can be installed in the most ideal locations in a building without having to worry about power cabling. Switches that are not PoE-capable can be "retrofitted" with Power over Ethernet at a reasonable price, especially if only a few ports with PoE supply are required. Here, the ALL0488V6 saves the purchase of a PoE switch. The ALLNET ALL0488V6 supports the IEEE802.3af & IEEE802.3at standard with a maximum power of 30W Watt. The ALL0488V6 does not need to be configured. It has an RJ45 input socket and an RJ-45 output socket, which is used to connect the switch and terminal device to the PoE injector. The cable length here can be up to 100 meters between switch and terminal device in total, as is usual in Ethernet. Due to its compact design, the ALLNET ALL0488V6 can be installed very easy. It has an internal power supply and supplies the PoE voltage on pins 4/5 (+) and 7/8 (-).
