Einige Hersteller verwenden ein externes USB- oder UART-Modul, um diese LCDs anzuschließen. Um die Hardware-Ressourcen der CPU zu schonen und die Verwendung externer Module zu minimieren, haben wir die Ein-Draht-Technologie entwickelt, die nur einen einzigen GPIO-Pin verwendet, und wir haben diese Technologie in alle unsere LCD-Controller-Boards integriert. Bei dieser Technologie kommuniziert eine MCU mit dem Chip des Touchpanels (wir verwenden den ADS7843-Chip oder andere Chips, die mit dem ADS7843 kompatibel sind) und verarbeitet die analogen Signale des Vierdraht-Widerstands und gibt die gefilterten stabilen Signale über GPIO an das ARM-Board aus. Wir haben diese Technologie in verschiedenen LCDs getestet, und sie funktionierte selbst bei einem großen LCD von 19" sehr gut, und einige häufig beobachtete Probleme wie Screen Flipping und Jittering traten nicht auf. Heute haben die meisten LCDs, die kleiner als 12" sind, eine LED-Hintergrundbeleuchtung. Wir verwenden die MCU des One-Wire, um auch die Hintergrundbeleuchtung zu verarbeiten. Die Hintergrundbeleuchtung wird mit einer Reihe von Werten eingestellt. Der Benutzer kann einen Wert für die Hintergrundbeleuchtung einstellen und dieser Wert wird über den GPIO-Pin des One-Wire an die MCU zur Verarbeitung weitergeleitet. Jedes FriendlyARM-LCD-Modul hat eine eindeutige ID, die in der MCU des one-wire gespeichert ist. Wenn die MCU die ID-Informationen aus den GPIO-Signalen ausliest, erkennt sie das LCD-Modell und weist den Bootloader an, den entsprechenden LCD-Treiber zu laden, wodurch ein FriendlyARM-LCD plug and play wird. Bei der Ein-Draht-Technologie für unsere LCDs mit kapazitivem Touch haben wir den Chip des resistiven Touch-Panels entfernt, aber die Funktion zur Einstellung der Hintergrundbeleuchtung und die ID-Informationen des LCDs beibehalten. Daher ist die Kommunikation zwischen dem kapazitiven Touch und dem ARM-Board immer noch Standard IIC. Achtung: Die Ein-Draht-Technologie unterscheidet sich von der allgemein bekannten Single-Bus-Kommunikation.
