ALLNET Point-to-Point Coax 8 Port Master Chassis "ALL-GHN108M-Coax-200" without modules
The distribution amplifier ALL-GHN108M-Coax is a highly integrated solution to provide a Gigabit network on 8 coaxial lines. Up to 8 G.hn modems deliver 750 Mbit or 1700 Mbit net per coaxial strand, depending on the model. A built-in power meter simplifies service during and after installation. Without compatibility to a cable network operator, even up to 1700 Mbit is available. Signal strength and skew can be digitally adjusted. If compatibility with a cable network operator is required, 750 Mbit are available. The ALL-GHN108M-Coax-200 takes care of all tasks such as filling, amplifying and splitting the TV signals as well as inserting the G.hn network data. Elaborate mounting boards / installations are not necessary.
The chassis are available for EOC-Ethernet over COAX with 100MHz modules for DVB-C coexistence and as 200MHz with more bandwidth without DVB-C coexistence. Or explained differently.
The EOC 100 and EOC 200 differ as follows:
EOC 100 1 Gbit/650 Mbit (gross/net) see (Part No. 193132)
EOC 200 2 Gbit/1.7 Gbit (gross/net) see (Part No. 221624)
EOC 100 and EOC 200 - What's behind them !
The EOC 100 uses the frequency band 2-87 MHz for the transmission of data and can provide the broadband cable signal (DVB-C) from 88 to 860 MHz, so that the cable connection of your provider can still be fully used.
The EOC 200 uses a frequency band of 2-199 MHz. Ideal for operators of a headend

Digitally adjustable:
8x 31dB attenuator (0.5 dB steps)
skew correction (0-3-6-9 dB)
Important: setting the output power
The total band power (approx. 90 transponders) is 19.5 dB higher compared to the output power of a single transponder determined with a measuring device!
You must take this into account when adjusting the total band power.
Example 1
1 transponder:
80.0 dBµV measured
90 transponders:
99.5 dbµV tape power
The LED display on the device shows 99 dBµV.
Result: The input signal can be amplified (only) by 10 dB.
Example 2
1 transponder:
90.0 dBµV measured
90 transponders:
109.5 dbµV tape power
The LED display on the device shows 109 dBµV.
Result: The input signal cannot be further amplified.
Consideration for 5 in-wall sockets in the line:
Good TV reception requires 60 dbµV - 75 dbµV at the input.
One in-wall socket EOC 1000/EOC 2000 has a transmission loss of 2-3 dB and a decoupling loss of 18 dB.
The AMP X8 delivers a maximum of 110 dbµV per strand.
After 5 EOC 1000/EOC 2000 in-wall sockets connected in a row is the total attenuation:
4x3
dB
Transmission loss
+
18
dB
Decoupling attenuation
+
4x1-2
dB
Attenuation in the coaxial cable
=
34-38
dB
Total attenuation
Then an optimal setting on the ALL-GHN108M-Coax-200 would be:
60 bµV-65 dbµV + 38 dB = 98-103 dbµV.
At the first in-wall socket, 12 dB would then arrive at the output, i.e. 72-77 dbµV.

It offers IPv6/IPv4 management and an integrated L2+ Gigabit switching engine together with 8*10/100/1000BASE-T ports with 30 Watt 802.3at PoE+ and 2 Gigabit SFP slots. With a total power budget of up to 130 W for various types of PoE applications, it offers fast, secure and cost-effective Power over Ethernet network solutions for IP surveillance in small businesses and enterprises.
The ALL-SG8610PM is programmed for advanced switch management features such as 802.1Q VLAN and Q-in-Q VLAN, Multiple Spanning Tree Protocol (MSTP), Loop and BPDU Guard, IGMP Snooping and MLD Snooping. In addition, the Link Layer Discovery Protocol (LLDP) is included as a layer 2 protocol to determine basic information about neighbouring devices in the local broadcast domain.
Extensive PoE management function
As a managed PoE switch for CCTV surveillance, wireless and VoIP networks, the ALL-SG8610PM has the following special PoE management functions:
PoE PD alive check
Timed rebooting of the power supply
PoE schedule
Monitoring of PoE utilisation
Soft reboot PoE non-stop
Prioritisation of the PoE port feed-in
Intelligent PD alive check for frozen PDs
The ALL-SG8610PM industrial PoE switch with 24 ports can be configured to monitor the status of the connected PDs in real time. As soon as the PD stops working and responding, the ALL-SG8610PM restarts the power supply to the PoE port and gets the PD up and running again. In addition, reliability is significantly improved by the fact that the PoE port resets the PD power supply, reducing the administrative burden on the administrator.
PoE schedule function for energy saving
To protect the environment, the AALL-SG8610PM Switch Ethernet PoE can effectively control the power supply in addition to its ability to deliver high wattage. The PoE schedule function helps to enable or disable the PoE power supply for each PoE port during specific time intervals, and is a powerful feature that helps SMEs or enterprises to save power and money.
Planned PD restart
The intelligent PoE switch ALL-SG8610PM allows each of the connected PoE IP cameras or PoE wireless access points to be restarted at a specific time every week. This reduces the risk of the IP camera or AP crashing due to a buffer overflow.
Redundant ring with fast recovery for critical network applications
The ALL-SG8610PM supports redundant ring technology and has a strong, fast self-recovery capability to prevent interruptions and external intrusions. It integrates advanced ITU-T G.8032 ERPS technology, Spanning Tree Protocol (802.1s MSTP) and a redundant power supply system into the customer's industrial automation network to improve system reliability and uptime in harsh factory environments. In a given simple ring network, the data link recovery time can be as fast as 20 ms.
Strong layer 2 functions
The ALL-SG8610PM Layer 2 Ethernet switch can be programmed for advanced Layer 2 switch management functions such as dynamic port link aggregation, 802.1Q tagged VLAN, Q-in-Q VLAN, private VLAN, Multiple Spanning Tree Protocol (MSTP), QoS, bandwidth control, IGMP snooping and MLD snooping. By aggregating the supporting ports, the ALL-SG8610PM enables the operation of a high-speed trunk group that has multiple ports and also supports fail-over.
Efficient and versatile management methods
For efficient management, the ALL-SG8610PM is equipped with console, web and SNMP management interfaces.
