Analog

Brick to integrate external I²C sensors and actuators in circuits including Arduino / Banana bricks as in our coding set. The brick has a precise, stable voltage of 5V and 3,3V for the sensors. The internal voltage sources can be used with a total of 100mA to provide the sensors. The brick's supply voltage is 9V.

Der BCD-Counter-Brick basiert auf dem Synchron zähler-Baustein CD4518. Damit kann man auf einfache Weise einen 2-stelligen BCDZähler aufbauen. Takt- und Reset-Eingang sind über je einen 10 kΩ Pulldown-Widerstand mit Masse verbunden. Zur Kaskadierung mehrerer BCD-Zähler ist der Übertrag (Carry Out) der Zehner-Stelle herausgeführt. Clock-Eingang und Carry-Ausgang sind low-aktiv. Versorgungsspannung: +9..15 V.

The LM386 is wired similarly to an operational amplifier - it is used to increase low audio signals. You can connect a 8 ohm loudspeaker with a maximum of 1/4 watt to the output. At the input, it increases the voltage level with the factor 200.

The Arduino has a special Bus, called I2C with that you can connect several bricks. The 8574 is a brick with that you can recieve additional 8 in and outpus and therefore extend the IO-ports easily. The I2C uses adresses for the bricks that you can change mechanically to use mamximum 8 of those bricks. Here is the 8574AT type used.

The LMC662 is an operational amplifier with extremely low input current of 2fA (2 femto ampere, the brick's input resistance is >1 terraohm). It can increase its voltage differences at the inputs (+ and -) up to 126 dB. Operational amplifier need to be wired correctly according to application. As the OA's inputs are very sensitive to overvoltage it has to be treated especially careful.
