Suitable gas or smoke detector test spray can then be used for function testing and calibration. The altered sensor value measured in the process serves as a comparison or alarm value. By comparing the measured values of clean air and gas/smoke air, the difference can be clearly determined. On this basis, threshold values, rules and actions can be reliably defined in the MSR control centre or control system.
